Setup Considerations: If connecting a laptop to the Ballroom video inputs, you may need a cable that has a display port connection on one end (for the laptop) and an HDMI connection on the other end (for the AV wall connection). The ends of this cable is labeled accordingly. These cables are stored on the cable wall with the HDMI cables.
Troubleshooting: Both HDMI and Display Port cables transmit both audio and video. br> Some laptops do not automatically turn on their external video port when a projector is connected. Usually a key combination like FN + F8 or CRT/LCD key turns the external display on and off. Locate a function key labeled CRT/LCD or function key with a monitor symbol.
