Selma telefoniert mit Lisa. Lisa ist im Urlaub:

Ich freue mich schon, wenn du wiederkommst.
Wie ist den der Urlaub? Habt ihr tolles Wetter?
Toll! Das klingt super!
Das Wetter bei mir -- Ich glaube, es sind so um sieben Grad und es ist bewölkt.
Abends soll es vielleicht noch regnen und morgen wird es kälter.
Der Himmel ist einfach immer grau.
Ihr habt Sonne und zwanzig Grad? Oh, das ist so gemein...

NAWIN: Team Süden!
NICO: Süden?
SELMA: Hier! Das ist Süden, das ist Norden, das ist Osten und das ist Westen.
NICO: Hi, ich bin Nico. Ich komme aus Spanien ... aus Sevilla.
SELMA: Spanien ... das ist im Süden, oder? Im Süden von Europa.
NICO: Ja. Und Sevilla ist im Süden von Spanien. Und du?
SELMA: Ich bin Selma. Ich komme aus Syrien ... aus Damaskus.
NICO: Damaskus, das ist ...
SELMA: Damaskus ist auch im Süden. Im Süden von Syrien. Komm jetzt! Wir gewinnen!
NICO: Gewinnen?
NINA: Nico spricht noch nicht so gut Deutsch.

LISA: Spezialitäten aus verschiedenen Ländern. Ihr müsst die Fähnchen zuordnen.
NINA: Das ist ja einfach! Also, Köttbullar ...isst man in Schweden! So.
SEBASTIAN: Warst du schon mal in Schweden?
NINA: Nee, aber ich fahre nächstes Jahr nach Norwegen!
SEBASTIAN: Nimmst du mich mit?
NINA: Klar!
LISA: Nawin? Du gehst nach Frankreich.
NAWIN: In Frankreich isst man gern Käse.
LISA: Ja, gar nicht so schlecht! Und du, Sebastian?
SEBASTIAN: Hier, gib her. So. Also, Sushi isst man in Japan und in Italien isst man Pizza!
LISA: Super! Und Nico, was isst man in Spanien?
NICO:In Spanien isst man Gazpacho!
LISA: Perfekt.
NICO: Und du wohnst in Frankreich?
NAWIN: Bald, ja. Ich habe da einen Job.

Übung 2-10b Schreiben

Teil 1 (Part 1)

  1. Go to this website: Wetter24 Deutschland
  2. The interactive weather map of Germany shows the names of the Bundesländer when the mouse hovers over the area.
  3. Pick three Bundesländer from three different areas of Germany: im Norden, im Nordwesten, im Süden, im Osten, im Südosten, im Westen, etc.
  4. Note down the names of the Bundesländer you select.
  5. Click on the Bundesland (not the city) to zoom in.
  6. Note the name of one city in that Bundesland.
  7. Write a brief report on each city that states its location and weather. See the model below.
Beispiel: Thürigen liegt im Osten von Deutschland. Jena liegt in Thüringen, östlich von Erfurt und nordöstlich von Saalfeld. Es regnet in Jena und es sind 13 Grad.

Teil 2

  1. Go to this website: Wetter24 Europa
  2. The interactive weather map of Europe shows the name of the country when the mouse hovers over the area.
  3. Pick three countries from three different areas of Europe (not Germany): im Norden, im Nordwesten, im Süden, im Osten, im Südosten, im Westen, etc. Note: Not all the countries are linked, and the mouse may need to hover over the area a couple of times until the name of the country pops up.
  4. Note down the names of the countries.
  5. Click on the country when the name pops up. The map will then zoom in on that country.
  6. Note the name of one city in that country.
  7. Write a brief report on each city that describes its location and weather. See the model below.
Beispiel: Griechenland liegt im Süden von Europa. Athen liegt in Griechenland, nordöstlich von Tripoli und südöstlich von Lamia. Es ist sonnig in Athen und es sind 25 Grad.

Type the assignment, double space, in an MS-Word document (no other format is acceptable) and submit the file to the designated folder on BOLT. Do not submit the assignment as an email attachment.

Minimum length for grade of

  • "C": 140 words with minimal errors
  • "B": 150 words with minimal errors
  • "A": 160 words with minimal errors
  • fewer than 140 words is a zero.
