Research

My research follows three tracks: ultra-cold atomic physics, acoustics, and biophysics. I am currently in the process of building an ultra-cold atomic physics laboratory right here at Bloomsburg University! Please speak to me if you are interested. I also have a strong focus on acoustics and am always looking for exciting projects in this area. Recently, three biology students and I investigated the acoustical noise involved in MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans of the brain and auditory nerve. In the biophysics arena, I have teamed up with a biology professor and another physics professor to analyze and synthesize the mating calls of Bufo fowlerii (Fowler's toad).
