Hello! I am a physics professor at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. My philosophy as an educator is that traditional classroom learning and research are really one and the same. Whether you are studying in the library, reading an interesting website, performing an integral on the computer, or weilding a wrench in the laboratory, you are really doing the same thing! You are persistently applying your native wit and creativity to solve some sort of problem. It may be an immediate problem -- like working on a homework assignment so that you are prepared for a later exam. It could also be painstakingly taking data in the laboratory that ultimately furthers our understanding of the physical world.
