As a part of the curriculum in the Bloomsburg University Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program, students take part in two summer camps.
The first is Mini-camp, a camp designed for preschool deaf and hard of hearing children. The camp provides graduate students a great opportunity to interact with children ages 2 to 6. The graduate students will plan lessons and partake in interactive, multilingual activities in this Mini-camp.
Camp HERO (Here Everyone Really is One) is a program where 35 - 60 deaf and hard of hearing children and youth and 16 - 22 counselors, mainly Bloomsburg University students, are immersed in a fun, activities filled 5-day camp experience at Camp Victory in Millville.
