| GASOLINE | A random sample of the price per gallon of gasoline. |
| GPA | The GPAs of 62 random members of a high-school senior class, rounded to the nearest hundredth. |
| LIGHTEXP | The lifetime (in hours) of 20 random expensive lightbulbs. |
| LIGHTGEN | The lifetime (in hours) of 25 random generic lightbulbs. |
| SATFRESH | The combined SAT scores from 40 random seniors at a certain high school. |
| SATMATH | The math SAT scores from 40 random seniors at a certain high school. |
| SOILPH | The pH level from 30 random soil samples. |
| TIRES | The tire lifetime (in thousands of miles) for 50 randomly selected customers. |
