The table below contains some of the TI-83 Plus calculator lists used in examples presented in the Graphing Calculator Manual to accompany Elementary Statistics, Eighth Edition, by Robert Johnson and Patricia Kuby. Calculator group names are indicated with an asterisk in front of the name.

CLASS	Number of students registered for introductory statistics class sections.
*COLLS: GEND, MAJOR	College students classified according to gender and major.
*COLWM: TALL, WEIGH	Height and weight of eight college women.
DAYS	Days in a standard school year for several different countries.
DEFEC	Final daily inspection defect report for an assembly line at a local manufacturer
*FASTFOOD: CALOR, FAT	Calories and fat content in some popular fast food items.
*FIBERS: STREN, FINE	Strength and fineness of random cotton fibers.
*GOLF: EARN, POINT	Money earnings and world point rankings for 16 professional golfers.
*GRADSCHL: GPA, GRE	Grade point average and graduate record exam scores for 15 random students.
IGNIT	Ignition time data for certain fabrics.
*LONGDIST: COMPA, COMPB, COMPC	Long distance telephone charges for randomly selected phone numbers using one of three different carriers: A, B, C.
LUNCH	Daily amount spent for lunch by employees at a small business.
MILES	Miles per gallon for a specially designed high mileage, two--seat automobile.
MINS	Exercise capacity (measured in minutes) for police academy recruits.
NUMB	Distribution of automobiles in the faculty parking lot on a recent Monday morning.
*NUNS: AGE, COUNT	Roman Catholic nun survey results. Class marks for ages and frequency for each class interval.
OCTAN	Gasoline octane ratings from a supplier's pipeline.
OPERS	Number of cases of each type of operation performed at General Hospital last year.
PARTS	Length of parts produced by a certain machine after an adjustment.
PAY	University administrator salary increases.
*PECLASS: PUSH, SIT	Fitness scores from a physical education class: push--ups and sit--ups.
*PERFORM: EARNS, STOCK	Earnings and total market value of stock for 15 random companies.
*SALTFREE: BEFOR, AFTER	Before and after diastolic blood pressure for people following a salt--free diet for two weeks.
SCORE	A random sample of exam scores from a large introductory statistics class.
*SNACKS: L1 - L4	Calorie content for four different snack food categories.
*SYSTOLIC: SBPM, SBPW	Systolic blood pressure for men and women.
TIMES	Manual dexterity times required to complete a certain task.
*TISSUE: AGE, CHEM	Age of subject and chemical concentration in tissue samples.
