Behold the C.W. McCall Page!

When I was young, my parents had a C.W. McCall record. I don't recall which one it was, but it had "Wolf Creek Pass" on it. They also had the Tom T. Hall record with "I Love" ("little puppy dogs..."). In fact, it just occurred to me that I could dedicate an entire page to my parents' record collection. But that will come later. This is the C.W. McCall Page.

A few years ago I bought "The Best of C.W. McCall" on record for ten cents at a garage sale and fell in love with C.W. all over again. Since then I've derailed at least one party (not mine) by producing this classic.

I looked all over the web for the lyrics to "Convoy", C.W.'s most famous song, but found them nowhere. So as the first (and for now, only) exhibit on the C.W. page, here are those timeless words.

UPDATE: In June 1998 I received an email from Edward Floden, informing me that mine is not the only C.W. page around. For a site that blows mine away, visit his C.W. McCall: An American Legend page.
