MISSIONS

This course introduces students to the origin, evolution, and geology of the solar system, paying particular attention to the terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, asteroids) and icy satellites of the outer planets.  Emphasis will be placed on the results returning from recent and current planetary missions. (Approved for 3 GEPs in Natural Science).
