Sales Presentations

 

ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS:

1.  Select a product, idea, candidate to “sell” to this audience.  YOU MUST COMMUNICATE TO YOUR INSTRUCTOR THE TOPIC OF YOUR PRESENTATION BY OCTOBER 17 – so we can try and prevent duplication of topics

2.  Presentations are to be 6 – 10 minutes in length.

3.  Your presentation will follow the format presented below:

Create an attention step – attract the attention and interest of this audience for your presentation – this is to be appropriate for this audience and the topic you have chosen

      Create a need step – convince the audience they “need” what you are selling

    Create a satisfaction step – convince the audience that what you are proposing is what    
   
they need

Create a visualization step – convince the audience how they will be better off if they “buy” your product/idea/candidate

    Create an action step – tell the audience what specifically they need to do now that         
   
they have been persuaded.

4.  On the day you are speaking, you will hand to the instructor an outline (not handwritten) of your presentation, identifying each of the steps described above.

5.  Visual aids (PowerPoint) are required for this assignment
