By the end of the semester, you should be able to:

    G_GREEN_ANIM.GIF (325 bytes) 2. Better understand the role of verbal and nonverbal communication in relationships

    G_GREEN_ANIM.GIF (325 bytes) 3. Better understand your strengths and weaknesses as a communicator

This course wil be conducted in a lecture/discussion format. Students are expected to attend all class sessions and participate in class activities.

Text: "Interplay:  The Process of Interpersonal Communication"   
by Adler/Rosenfeld/Proctor (additional readings will be distributed in class)

Attendance Policy: Attendance Policy: One unexcused absence will be permitted without penalty. Any additional unexcused absence may result in a reduction of the student’s final course grade.

Grading Criteria:

Class Participation = 25%      

Unit Tests (3 tests each worth 15%) = 45%      

Final Exam = 30%
