about how much info is now available on the Internet about serving in government.

          Attended the Governor's Address on Crime to the Joint Session of
               the State Assembly - as guests of the Lt. Governor.
         Tour of Pa. Legislature's Communications Facility (to learn about career opportunities in 
                state politics and government)
         Using the Internet to Locate Local/State/and Federal resources for Community Leadership
         Polling of Columbia County Residents
               (students create two survey instruments, learn how to create a data base, select a sample, 
                administer surveys, perform statistical analysis, student teams make policy recommendations 
                based on analysis)
         Class Participated in the Bloomsburg Town Hearings on Alcohol Policy
         Tour of COMSAT Communication Complex
