Recent Activitys: From November 1996 through March 1999, John was the chair of the Middle States Self Study Steering Committee which led to the University’s reaccredidation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Currently chair of Bloomsburg University Curriculum Committee (BUCC) and a member of the Secretariat, Strategic Planning Group, Drop/Add Review Team and Outcomes Assessment Committees.

Scholarly Interests: Functional analysis, particularly function algebras of bounded analytic functions. Several complex variables. Chaos and dynamical systems (iterated function systems).
