Spectroscopy Problem Set
Log on to the following website (Also take a look around. This website is called "The Virtual Textbook of Organic Chemistry" and it should prove to be a useful addition to your course notes/textbook!)
http://www.cem.msu.edu/~reusch/VirtualText/Spectrpy/nmr/nmr1.htm#nmr1
At the bottom of the page, there is a drop down menu to Problems. On a separate sheet of paper, write out the answers to the following problems:
Problems 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9.
You do not have to write out/print out the problems, only the answers, with problem numbers clearly labeled!
Only these problems make up the problem set, and they are due in lab during the week of February 1st.
For further practice, check out the site
http://www.chem.ucla.edu/~webspectra/
which is a link to WebSpectra, the UCLA spectroscopy problems database. You should be able to do all problems at the "beginner" level, EXCEPT any that involve DEPT or COSY spectra. These problems are NOT part of the problem set, but similar problems may appear on the Quiz!
