Program Description:

The Chinese Minor offers a total of 18 Credit-hours of study, with 12 credits in language studies and 6 credits in electives.  Credits can also be transferred from study abroad programs.  The Chinese Minor aims at helping students achieve Intermediate to Advanced language proficiency and an in-depth cultural knowledge.

Language Course Schedule:

Chinese I and III are offered in fall semesters; Chinese II and IV are offered in spring semesters.

Study Abroad:

Study abroad credits can be transferred to satisfy requirement. BU maintains a dynamic academic relationship with the following schools: Peking University, Yunnan Normal University, Shenyang Normal University, Shandong Technical Institute.
