Exam #3 Grades
There were 20 multiple choice questions (at 1 pt. each) and the problems were worth 30 points. Maximum possible raw score = 50.
One question was answered correctly by less than 30% of the class, the highest grade on the MC part of the exam was three questions wrong, I added FIVE raw score points onto every score. This is the equivalent of FIVE MC items being tacked on to everyones score.
Columns are: MC Correct number of m.c. items you answered correctly, PrPtsOff number of points you had deducted for errors on the problems, PrPoints number of points earned for responses to the problems, RawTot total raw score, %of100 raw score expressed as a percentage, adj%of100 new grade as a percentage, with the curve, and finally Points of 15 your grade converted to the 15 points this exam was worth
Unfortunately, given the extremely limited class time we have left, I will not be able to spend any time in class discussing the exam, feel free to stop by during my office hours if you would like to discuss the exam, look at correct answers, etc.

One MC question that < 30% got correct
Added 5 points on to every raw score, best
performance on mc section 3 wrong, points added on amounted to 10% on 100 point scale.
20 mc questions were 40% of grade
30 points for problems were 60% of final grade

adjustment.
