Counseling 505 Exam #2 Grades

Dr. Leitzel

There were a total of 77 questions on the exam, one of which met my criterion for a “bad test item” which is 30% or less answering the question correctly.

The highest raw score on the exam was 77 questions correct (and to the person who earned that score, congratulations, I am extremely impressed...), the next highest raw score was 71 questions correct. I decided to use the second highest score as my basis for the “adjustment.” So, as a curve of sorts, I credited everyone with six questions. The first column is the last five of your ssn, next column is number of questions answered correctly, the next two columns are the exam grade expressed as a % before and after the six question “add on” and finally, the last column is the exam grade expressed on the 15 point scale that exam #2 was worth.
