There
were five items that < 30 % of the class got correct. The person with the
highest grade on the mc part of the exam answered 4 mc questions wrong. As an adjustment I have added 4 items on to
every student’s raw score for the exam (this adds 8% to your score). The columns should be self-explanatory, first
is the points earned for the essays (out of 30 possible), next is number of
questions correct of the 35 multiple choice items, next column is your raw
score grade as a %, the next column is your grade with the 5 item adjustment
that I added on. The final column is your grade expressed on the 10 point scale
that this exam was worth. Your total
scores on the quiz questions thus far are in the final column (out of 25
possible thus far).
