Final exam and
overall course grades
The
following should be self-explanatory, but just in case… For the final exam, I
gave everyone credit for four items as an adjustment. The 46 multiple choice
questions were worth 55 points and the cases totaled 45 points (On a 100 pt. scale). Your total score before the adjustment is in
the Raw% column. Your score with the add on, expressed as a percentage is in
the “w curve” column, following that is the score converted to the 25 point
scale that the final was worth. The quiz column is the number of correct quiz
questions you had out of the 10 we did for Chapters 12 & 10.
Following
the final exam and last quiz grades is a summary table with overall course
grades. Please let me know ASAP if you believe there is an error in any of the numbers I have recorded for you.

Att./Part
is your attendance/participation grade, remember, this is a combination of both
your attendance and level of participation.
Quiz
is points compiled for the quizzes, the cut off for the full ten points was 36
of the 45 questions correct.
Total
Pts. and Grade are self explanatory. If somebody who had the same number of
points as you, or slightly less, got a higher letter grade, it is due to
exemplary attendance. As I said at the beginning of the semester that is the
only time I do any “rounding up” of grades.
Please
contact me ASAP if you believe there is an error in any of the numbers I have
recorded. If there is not an error, please do not contact me asking me to
increase your grade for whatever excellent reason you may have, the answer will
be no.
