Grading Procedure:

Test A                                                 100 points
Test B                                                  100 points
Test C                                                  100 points
Test D                                                 100 points
Test E                                                  100 points
Homework Quiz                                 200 points
Final                                                    300 points
                                                            1000 points

There will be six tests scheduled during the semester, only your top five grades will count towards your final grade.  You cannot receive more than 500 total test points.  Each homework quiz will count for 34 points.  Your lowest score will be dropped.  You cannot receive more than 200 points in the homework quiz category.  Because one each of the tests and homework quizzes will be dropped, make-ups will only be given at the discretion of the instructor, and a written explanation of the absence will be required within 7 calendar days of the exam in order for any make-up to be considered by the instructor.

There are 1000 possible points:
For an A in the course you need at least         930 points

For an A- in the course you need at least       900 points

For a B+ in the course you need at least         864 points

For a B in the course you need at least           832 points      

For a B- in the course you need at least          800 points

For a C+ in the course you need at least         764 points

For a C in the course you need at least           732 points

For a C- in the course you need at least          700 points

For a D+ in the course you need at least        664 points      

For a D in the course you need at least           632 points      

For a D- in the course you need at least         600 points
