Important Notes

- We will have a room for advisors with light refreshments the day of the contest.
Advisor Notes
- The signs that direct you to the contest unloading zone will read uploading instead of unloading.
- This year we have 69 teams from 27 different schools participating. Please try to bring laptops that are already charged, an extension cord and a power strip for each team. Things will be a little tight. If needed I can move a couple teams to another location, but would prefer that we are all in the same room.
- We will have several rooms available for advisors to use during the contest. We will have light refreshments in room 410 for advisors this year and we have reserved rooms 411 and 343 to give you more room to relax, talk informally or work during the contest. Soda, juice, coffee, bagels and such will be placed in room 410 around 8:00 AM. I will meet with advisors in room 410 after I get the students started on the contest at 9:00 AM.
- Please check-in at our registration desk as soon as you arrive in the ballroom. We will have lunch tickets, t-shirts and the table placements for your teams. Any teams that finish early will be sent to lunch starting around 11:30. Please try to bring your students back from lunch by 12:45 on Tuesday.
- As a reminder, the lunch tickets we give you are only good in our commons which is in a different building. Please make sure your students do not try to use them in the lunch room down the hall from the contest. We will have our students lead any new teams to our commons or you will be able to follow schools who have attended previous contests to the lunch room.
- My cell phone number is: 570-336-6854 if you have any problems the day of the contest. If you can’t reach me, call Wendy at 570-389-4500. She will get a message to me.
